Renault radios unlocked online in minutes — your original code, calculated from the security precode.
The serial (precode) of a Renault radio lives on the printed label on the rear casing — it is not shown on screen.
That means the unit has to come forward out of the dash (no need to disconnect any wires) so you can read the label.
You will need a pair of radio release keys to pull the unit out.
On the label, look for 1 letter followed by 3 digits — for example A123.
It usually sits next to the word “security”, or at the tail end of a longer string of characters.
No precode on your label? Send the long serial instead. Renault units carry one of two other forms we answer: RN259FX0000001 style (also RG…), or a Delphi label beginning 89. Either is enough on its own — you do not need the precode as well.
The precode is printed on the label on the rear casing, often marked “security”.
